During the Covid-19 pandemic, when many blind students had reduced access to Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs), Independence Science supported your hybrid and remote learning needs and also offered virtual or call in consultation services. Our Sci-VoiceTM Talking LabQuest product now supports remote laboratory learning experiences!
We pledged to keep our remote services available beyond the pandemic to ensure the widest range of accessibility expertise to meet our customer’s individualized needs. Our staff is here in a safe and dependable manner to help with your curriculum and compensatory service needs.  Â

In addition, we are happy to promote the availability of the VISTAS Education Partners on their free homework help hotline. Several Independence Science staff are volunteers on this hotline at designated times.
Areas of hotline help include, but are not limited to:

· Voice Over for MacOS and iOS devices
· Nemeth and literary braille
· Cranmer abacus
· Refreshable braille displays
· Core Curriculum Subjects (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies)
Who:
NHH-BVI responders are experienced TVIs, tutors, blind mentors, STEM professionals, and college students
How:
Support requests are submitted by email or phone. Volunteer responders provide call backs from M-Fri 11am-9pm EST.
