Independence Science stands on the belief that hands-on science learning for the blind is empowering individuals to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields of study. We have collaborated with Vernier Science Education to adapt the first accessible laboratory tool for the blind. Using the Sci-VoiceTM Software, the LabQuest® device announces data collection in real-time, file menu navigation, data tables of collected data, a full periodic table and is durable enough to be used in field or lab experiment.

- The LabQuest 2 is no longer in current production; Vernier has replaced LQ 2 with LQ 3. A talking LQ 3 does not exist…yet…stay tuned for updates!
