STEM careers are projected to grow more than twice as fast as all occupations, per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Our programs are designed to empower BLV students with workforce readiness, STEM knowledge, and practical life skills, so they can aspire to pursue rewarding STEM careers, meet the critical STEM talent shortage, and positively impact their communities.
Our STEM pre-ETS Program Approach
Our programs are designed to prioritize BLV independence and wellbeing. We deliver immersive STEM modules that blend cutting-edge content with hands-on activities, to (1) inspire by breaking down barriers to STEM inclusion, and (2) equip with workforce readiness and independent living skills for STEM careers. Taught by our BLV scientists, we cover core STEM concepts and skills, alongside essential professional and life skills for the modern STEM workforce. This unique approach builds student confidence and competence, guided by BLV scientist role models who understand their shared experiences and challenges.
