Independence Science stands on the belief that hands-on science learning for the blind is empowering individuals to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields of study. We have collaborated with Vernier Science Education to adapt the first accessible laboratory tool for the blind. Using the Sci-VoiceTM Software, the LabQuest® device announces data collection in real-time, file menu navigation, data tables of collected data, a full periodic table and is durable enough to be used in field or lab experiment.

- The LabQuest 2 is no longer in current production; Vernier replaced LQ2 with LQ3; a Talking LQ3 does not exist…yet…stay tuned for more updates!
- The LQ2 hardware is sealed old stock that is serviced by the factory prior to shipping; this includes (but not limited to) installing software, replacing batteries, and inspecting.
- We also offer like-new factory-refurbished units from prior customers, as availability allows
- All devices come with the 1-year manufacturer warranty.
