Tactile Adaptation Kit



This kit contains everything you need to make visual representations quickly and easily into tactile images. Complete with suggestions on use in the included guidebook. No more need to hunt for random items to make things accessible on the fly this kit has it all complete with carrying case for easy transport between classes!

Utilizing the materials contained in this kit, visual aids easily transform into tactile representations and manipulatives.

  • Textured dots for coding in various sizes and textures
  • Ten small magnets (about ¾ in.)
  • Ten round magnets ½ in. in diameter with adhesive backing
  • Two large round magnets
  • 2 sets of plastic print magnetic letters 1.5 inch high
  • Magnetic plastic numbers (two of each numbers 1.5 inch high)
  • Six foam sheets backed with magnetic sheets in three different textures 5 ½ by 9 in.
  • Twelve sheets of foam in various colors (5 ½ by 9 in.)
  • 3 adhesive backed magnetic sheets
